The Story of Verse&Vogue — By Ernest Dumbu, Founder & CEO
When I started Verse&Vogue, I wasn’t trying to build “just another fashion brand.”
I was tired. Tired of choosing between clothes that fell apart after 2 washes, and pieces that cost too much to actually wear. Tired of scrolling and feeling like nothing was made for me.
I kept asking: What if fashion could feel personal? What if getting dressed felt like writing a verse — something that’s yours, that means something? And what if it could still be vogue — timeless, confident, and effortless?
That’s where the name came from.
Verse is you. Your story, your rhythm, the way you show up.
Vogue is how the world sees you. Polished, intentional, and bold.
We started small. One sterling silver ring, a few tees, accessories I wanted in my own closet. Every product we add now goes through the same test: Would I be proud to wear this? Will it last? Does it help someone feel more like themselves?
Today Verse&Vogue ships worldwide. But the heart hasn’t changed. We’re here to make high-quality style accessible — without the crazy markup and without the fluff.
For me, this brand is personal. It’s about giving people clothes and jewelry that don’t just look good, but make you feel like the main character in your own story.
Because at the end of the day, style isn’t about trends.
It’s about telling your verse, and wearing it with vogue.
